We get the following two questions from prospective clients,

  • Are you accepting new clients?

and

  • What is “the process” for getting our returns completed?

We will answer the first question here (below) and the second question in a separate blogpost.

Yes, we are accepting new clients. However, we do ask you to make an appointment so we can meet first and make sure that the relationship would be a good fit.

Even though your tax return is due April 15th, it is never too early to meet and get established. As a general rule we do not accept new clients between February 15th and April 15th so get on our schedule for an appointment now. We can use this time to answer any questions you have, talk about your financial goals and to sketch out a timeline for the preparation of your tax return.

Making an appointment is easy – both weekday and weekend appointments are available to accommodate your schedule. Just go to the following link and book your appointment from the available times. There is usually no charge for the initial meeting so we can take the time to get to know each other without worrying about fees. If you have been referred by a friend of colleague, let us know so we can thank them.

Please send us a PDF copy of your prior year’s tax return or bring the return to the meeting so we can review and discuss any tax issues. If you want to send a PDF electronically, please use the following link to send the document securely. We are serious about data security. LeapFILE encrypts your data making it safer to transmit over the internet and if you use the Flanery CPA link there is no charge to you for this service.

Our office is located in Madison Park – a quick drive down E. Madison toward Lake Washington. A day or two before your appointment we will send a confirmation email that includes instructions for getting to the office.

Please feel free to email Marci at marci@flanerycpa.com if you have any questions. Otherwise, we look forward to meeting you soon.
