COVID-19 Pandemic
First and most importantly, we express our hope that neither you nor your loved ones’ health has been or will be affected by the pandemic we are all concerned about lately. We’re taking proactive steps to do what we can to protect our clients, our personnel, and their families, while staying focused on serving our clients.
There’s no handbook for this pandemic so we’re closely following the news; suggestions of federal, state, and local governments about the health crisis; and news coming from the Department of the Treasury and the Internal Revenue Service as to tax filing and payment deadlines.
We’ve invested in heavily technology and software over the last several years allowing us to work from virtually anywhere – as our clients know, our tax preparation software is cloud-based, so their tax work can be done from any location with internet access.
We’ve worked on a “by appointment only” basis for face-to-face meetings for a number of years, and, mindful of the current pandemic and that King county is a virus hotspot, our Seattle office was closed to clients and the public the week before last. All scheduled in-person appointments have been converted to phone calls or Zoom meetings. The office closure for meetings will continue until it is safe for our clients and personnel to resume them.
As stated-above, there’s no handbook for responding to this pandemic, so our response will be adapted as needed and we’ll continue to provide updates either here or directly to affected clients where such communications are needed. If you have any specific questions, please feel free to reach out to us using the information on our home page.
